Privacy Policy
What we collect, why, who sees it, and the choices families have — written for a program where most participants are minors.

PlaceholderThis policy is a starting template. The organization should review it with counsel before relying on it.
Who we are
Strut N Strive Dance Kingdom (“we”, “us”) runs youth majorette and hip-hop dance programs in Brooklyn, New York. This policy covers this website, the parent portal and the Strut N Strive mobile app.
What we collect
From parents and guardians: name, email, phone, account login details, household information, and payment records (amounts, dates, receipts).
About dancers, provided by a parent or guardian: name, age or grade band, team, experience level, consent choices, and — only where a parent chooses to share it — health, allergy or injury information needed to keep the dancer safe.
From visitors: messages sent through the contact form, and aggregate, non-identifying usage counts (for example, how many people clicked “Join the Kingdom”). We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site trackers.
Card payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. Card numbers are entered on Stripe’s secure pages and never reach or are stored on our servers. We receive a confirmation, the amount and the last four digits for receipts. Stripe’s own privacy policy applies to the data it processes.
How we use it
To run registration and tryouts, schedule practices and events, communicate with families, process tuition, fees, donations and merchandise orders, keep dancers safe, and meet our legal and accounting obligations. We do not sell personal information, and we never use dancers’ information for marketing.
Health information
Health details are encrypted, visible only to authorized staff who need them for a dancer’s safety, and every access is logged. They are never included in analytics, logs, marketing or emails.
Children’s privacy
Accounts are held by parents or guardians. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13; information about a dancer is provided and controlled by their parent or guardian. Public dancer profiles show a first name and last initial only, and appear only with a parent’s written consent. See our Child Safety & Media Policy.
Who we share with
Service providers that help us operate (payment processing, email delivery, hosting), bound to use the data only for our purposes; and authorities where the law requires it. Nothing else.
Retention
We keep registration and payment records for as long as needed for the program and for tax and accounting requirements, then delete or anonymize them. Parents may ask us to delete a dancer’s profile at any time.
Your choices
Parents and guardians can review and update their household’s information in the parent portal, withdraw photo or profile consent, or ask for a copy or deletion of their data by contacting the contact form on this site.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date on this page and, for material changes, notify account holders by email.
